   • Receiving and replying to consultation requests (phone or email)
   • Consultations on marriage migrant (F-6) and other stay matters, and carrying out work you entrust to us
   • Sending an email confirming that your request was received

2. 2. Information collected and how

   Collected through: the consultation form on this website, phone and email

   • Required: name, phone number
   • Entered depending on the form: email, spouse's nationality, inquiry details
   • Records such as IP address and access time may be generated automatically for site operation and security

3. 3. Retention period

   We destroy the information without delay once the purpose is fulfilled. However, we keep it for 1 year after the consultation ends in case of disputes, and then destroy it.

   Where another law requires retention, we keep it for that period.

4. 4. Disclosure to third parties

   We do not provide personal information to third parties, except in the cases below.

   • When you have agreed in advance
   • When an investigative or other authority requests it through the procedure set by law

5. 5. Outsourcing

   We entrust the following companies with tasks needed to handle consultation requests. They operate servers abroad, so your information may be stored and processed outside Korea while being transmitted.

   • Resend, Inc. — emailing consultation requests to the Office's staff
   • Cloudflare, Inc. — website operation and security

6. 6. How information is destroyed

   • Electronic files: deleted so they cannot be recovered
   • Paper documents: shredded or incinerated

7. 7. Your rights

   You may at any time ask to view, correct, delete or stop the processing of your personal information. Contact us by phone or email using the details below and we will act without delay.

   You may refuse to provide personal information. Without your name and phone number, however, we cannot reply to your consultation.
